Ducati MotoGP boss got “positive” response from Marquez, Bagnaia after Portugal clash
During the Portuguese GP last month, Bagnaia and Marquez collided on lap 23, which was considered a racing incident by FIM stewards but led to tensions between them. This marked the first conflict after Marquez joined Gresini racing, warned by Ducati about potential clashes. In a press conference before the Americas Grand Prix, the incident was not addressed, indicating a possible move on from both riders. Grassilli, Gresini team manager, intervened by sending a message to defuse the situation, receiving positive responses from both riders. Moreover, Ducati is currently in discussions with VR46 and Pramac for partnership extensions, aiming for continuity in their collaborations for the future.
